After final spring grades are received and all calculations and selections have been finalized, the Office of Academic Services, Tulane Law School, extends invitations to those students who will be receiving awards. The event begins at 5:00 pm with a reception in the Berkett Multipurpose Room (MPR) with distribution of awards at 5:30 p.m. in the W. H. Gauthier Appellate Moot Court Room (Room 110 of John Giffen Weinmann Hall).

The University Commencement Ceremony honors the graduating students from all of the university's schools and colleges. It features the pomp and circumstance expected of a traditional commencement celebration with a New Orleans twist. At this ceremony, expect to see the procession of graduates and faculty, the conferral of degrees and hear live jazz.

Wave Goodbye is an annual party for graduates that is modeled after New Orleans' many springtime festivals. All graduates and their guests are invited to mingle on Gibson Quad on the uptown campus on Friday, May 15, 6-8 p.m. The event features local music and a variety of New Orleans food in small plates. Wine and beer will be available for purchase (cash only).
