Apply to be the Student Speaker at Tulane’s 2026 Unified Commencement

Dear Class of 2026,

We invite all graduating students to apply to serve as the Class of 2026 Student Speaker at Tulane University’s 2026 Unified Commencement Ceremony, held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, at the Caesars Superdome. This is a special opportunity to represent the graduating class and share reflections with fellow graduates, families and the university community.

All undergraduate, graduate and professional students receiving their Tulane degree in May are eligible to apply. To be considered as the Class of 2026 student speaker, please review the steps below.

Application: Complete and submit your application by 5 p.m. CT on Friday, March 20. Applicants must be eligible to participate in spring commencement exercises to be considered.
Interview: If selected, a committee representative will contact you via email to schedule an interview. Students must be available for an in-person interview between March 30–April 10.
Selection and Rehearsal: The selected student speaker will be notified and must be available for an in-person rehearsal at the Caesars Superdome during the week of May 11. Additional details will be shared during the interview process.
